The Pioneer Courthouse is the second oldest courthouse in the USA, being built in 1864.
	The building is a sandstone and granite structure. To facilitate a seismic upgrade and interior renovations some of the exterior masonry will be dismantled, catalogued and then reinstalled later in the project, once the under pinning has been completed. The remaining masonry including the stone perimeter fence will also be restored. We anticipate the project to be complete by September 2005.
